I somehow missed the launch of I Love Fake Magazine’s first print issue. And, of course, the only place I can pick it up in the US is New York City.
Although, the Urban Outfitters corporate campus has a magazine shop full of some hard to find mags, so maybe it’ll be there. Couldn’t hurt to check.
Today was orientation for my internship and it already seems as if it will be completely different from any internship I’ve ever had, granted I’ve been doing journalism internships. This semester I’ll be a styling intern for Urban, which needless to say is pretty exciting. I met my fellow Urban interns today, some are buying and doing design for the brand.

Trying to focus on knocking out these articles, but I keep daydreaming and watching episodes of television shows. Netflix is the devil.
The Condé Nast building is a place of great mystery and power. It also has a legendary cafeteria, and the elevators are an infamous hive of activity and gossip. We have no idea why it took so long, but some genius started a Twitter account called @Conde Elevator to chronicle all the convos that take place in the storied elevators. We applaud the brave soul who started it and sincerely hope that s/he does not get canned. There are only 13 tweets on there so far, but it already deserves its own “Ten Best Tweets” list. So here they are, in no particular order:
